I DO NOT want a website that traces your genealogy, I found a bunch of those on Google. I’m trying to make one myself but I’m having difficulty showing who married who and what not. I’m doing my mother’s side and father’s side so I’m not sure how to make them connect and I’m doing at least four generations and I’m showing cousins aunts and uncles, everyone!

Family legend has it that a number of ancestors fought and some died in the Napoleonic wars. Is there anyway to check this, preferably on line?

Is a free or trial version of a genealogy software that can print all-in-one family trees from a GEDCOM file? All-in-one meaning it prints everyone that is in the family tree.

Thank you!
Only versions of Family Tree Maker before 2008 have that capability. I’m looking for a free or trial version of something else (if possible).

I know that sometimes white babies are born with a certain birthmark, that shows somewhere in their ancestry they had a black relative.
What is the name for this birthmark, and what does it usually look like? My boyfriend has large marks on his arm that look like coffee stains, and is very dark, so we think he may have black ancestry somewhere, although his grandma is Sicilian.
