Ideas For Family Tree Project Archives

I’ve previewed about 10 diagrams from miscrosoft.com but then they seem to have only those family tree templates where you insert the name or kin relation (i.e. mum, dad, auntie) into the boxes. For an assignment I’m doing, I either can handwrite it (not preferred) or look for one online.

However, I must use symbols which signify certain relationships, if the members are dead or alive, male or female etc. My teacher prefers it if I use the triangle for male members, circle for females and a line through the symbol for a deceased, dotted line for divorce etc.

There must be a program/template out in the wide web for this? Paint can’t be the only option :( NOoooo lol

Thanks in advance

Hi, i have to do a family tree for a school project, and instead of spending hours writing all my relatives’ names down, i was wondering if there was like an online family tree generator? i want something that i can just type in all the names i want into, and it will come up with a family tree i can print out, with like a drawing of a tree in the back or something. i found some templates that i could print out and fill in the names, but it doesn’t have the right amount of spaces and all that..

soo. is there like, a free online customizable family tree generator? thanks !

My family uses a fake tree because a long time ago when I asked my dad how come we don’t use a real tree he said because it is too much work, you have to make sure that the tree is watered and you have to keep it from drying out,I agree it is too much work, that is why I love all kinds of Christmas trees even real ones.

I would really like to find out about my great grandfather and great grandmother. All I know are their names — Stanley Ernest Deatker and Jamuna Deatker. I know this is probably near impossible.. In India there aren’t very good birth records from that time i.e. around 1900s. If you have any good sites on Anglo-indian family history and genealogy or if you know anything about the surname Deatker please share.. Thank you =)
