i need to make a family tree for a project where i can put their names and picture but i cant find one online. does anyone know a place where i can make it besides paint and word microsoft word? thank you!

I have always been interested to see if Helen Keller ( or anyone famous) is related to me. Does anyone know a website were you can go find your family tree for free?
I really want to find out my family tree, but i don’t want to have to pay 30 bucks a month for it, and i tried ancestry.com, the 14 day free trial, but whenever i typed in anything, it would ask for billing information, but i was afraid to enter it, in case of the slight possibility of it being a scam (i hate putting my credit card number online) so any help would be great, THANKS!!!
The software must be capable of allowing a large family tree to be drawn and printed using a large plotter. The tree is more of an organogram and power point has proven to be not adequate to draw something this large (about 2 meters by 1 meter even after using small boxes). Key is that the tree be easily update’able and printable.
